Lead Support Coordinator
Mary has held numerous roles and positions over her 30-year career in nursing including:

Aged care management, clinical & quality roles.

Performance assessor for AHPRA.

Quality Assessor for the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

Trainer and Assessor - Cert IV Aged Care and Diploma of Nursing
Aside from her role with Therapea Health as Chief Clinical and Compliance Officer, Mary is also lead Support Coordinator.
When we on-board a new client seeking Support Coordination, we seek to understand what’s important to them and what goals they want to achieve. We understand that navigating the disability space is daunting, especially for those who are new to the NDIS. Many of our clients don’t understand how to read their NDIS plan, or how to access the services they have been funded to receive.
Our dedicated team of Support Coordinators are skilled at asking key questions and creating a process that ensures your capacity is built. We will consult with you about all aspects of your plan so that we maximise the funding you have. Our monthly reporting system also enables you to clearly see what you are billed for, and the hours you are charged. We also have an easy to access feedback system so that we are constantly striving to improve our services.
On reflection, my career has been extensive and rewarding. I have held a many roles and have enjoyed each one of them because making a difference in someone’s life is what motivates me. Over the years it becomes more than just a job. You make friendships not just with your work colleagues but with clients too. You create familiarity, comfort, trust and respect in the relationships formed over time. You create a sense of family. Joining Team Therapea means I can continue to offer the best care and services to some of the most vulnerable in our society. I love what I do.
